Hello guys,

This is my keyboard solo section of my solo project. I hope you like it.

The sound was programmed by myself on the Yamaha Motif ES

Waiting for your feedback/comment!

See ya!
Andrea

PS: the solo is copyrighted

The sound's pretty cool, although when the timbre changes on the lower notes it loses it somewhat for me and sounds a bit flabby. It's hard really to comment much on the playing without there being drums or something in the mix - the guitar isn't mixed high enough to be able to get a feel of the rhythm. Nice playing though!

I dig it! My only gripe is that most leads people make anymore have a hint of JR in them.

I like it.....

And maybe there's a hint of Jordan in it (which is good), I find it more 'original' then I expected.

Reading the post I thought you tried to recreate Jordan's (Kurzweil) lead.

Now it also has a bit of Wakeman :)
it always good to aim at your own sound.

Just my opinion

My idea was to create more a "moog" sound but then, adding the harmonics It reminds to Jordan's lead sound...The other sound I posted a while ago is more guitar oriented with a lot of distorsion in it

Sonically, I think the lead is very JR-inspired, but the feedback layer is much...'higher', and less 'growly' than JR's. This is no bad thing - yours suits a 'happier'/less serious style of playing.

I agree with what others have said about how the guitar is too low in the mix - it really is. The inclusion of some drums (which would be about ten minute's work to program in a simple pattern, with a few fills) would really help to add pace and measure to the piece - at the moment, whilst it sounds good, it also seems very...washy. I don't know if this is what you intended or not, but the ideas you've put into the piece feel to me quite disjointed.

Other than those couple of (very minor) points, I really like it!

Good job ;)
