A couple important information for Dave and all the other people:
ProgSounds was born as a community of people willing to share their knowledge and files about synthesizers through the internet. It was never meant to be a virtual file storage archive of any sort and therefore, as long as the file is hosted in there, links must be placed to a page and not to a file. You can all see the point in this as there is no use for a community with a couple links to mp3s and patches. I could understand if anyone of you was going to hack his way to get some protected files: it's illegal and noone should do that, but at least there was the honour of putting your balls on the table with the risk of having them chopped away. However, ProgSounds doesn't host anything waiting for payments or banners of any sort. You won't find a lot of words to mesmerize your brain while getting your pocket and leaving just an incense-mystical flavour behind. Nothing of this, just plain stuff for people who are interested in that and I dare everyone to prove the opposite.
I offered to host it, to create the board and to put some efforts in that even if it wasn't anything like the nice job Dave has done until now. I wrote a lot of stuff for people asking for it about leads and every other kind of metal masturbation with whom I am incredibly inclined to (I don't have a life as most of you might think of it, but some of you know this is pretty scary for some other aspects). Today I received information from my provider that the hosting quota was almost being exceeded and that there was a lot of outsiders-traffic to the boards pages. I thought there had to be a mistake and checked out the site contents.
I found that you Dave, had put a certain number of big files that have no trace in ProgSounds board. I'm totally digging your projects up you know, especially these things you are doing with Jordan and I wish you the best of luck. But I cannot host something for jordanrudess.com like any other site. I know about the "donate" topic and - for various reasons - I never gave notice of volunteering for this and I am still willing to have no part in it. If you want to post a direct link to an mp3 here, please refer to jordanrudess.com team for it. But as long as you are having some files hosted by ProgSounds you need at least to support the concept of it being a board and not an online storage device.
From now on I am the only one able to access the FTP root of ProgSounds and I will be happy to discuss and eventually host any file you people might want to. The procedure now is: email progsounds@albertorizzoschettino.com and ask for this explaining what kind of file and request you have. I'll personally take care of it.
I hope to have made myself clear without pretending to change or hurt Dave's projects (which I strongly encourage you guys to stay tuned on as they are really cool) or anyone else beliefs.
The file is no longer available at the link provided but you can surf your way through ProgSounds and you will find it in the Kurzweil section:

Peace,
Alberto
ADDENDUM: for those of you thinking that this post is because I'm pissed off with Dave I must say that this is completely wrong. I -had- to make these things clear to people in the board as this board was in some way involved because having direct links to ProgSounds. It's crystal clear that ProgSounds has nothing to do with the person of Jordan Rudess and his name or his activity, with his words or actions, with his playing and his music, with anyone of the team, of Dream Theater or whoever icon you are thinking of right now.
