Ok, for those that know my Manahil Project, you probably noticed that their's is a lot going on for a 2 musicians band... I record usually 2 or 3 tracks of differents keyboards and a lot of drums and percussions (sampled by my keyboard).

Now we want to play Live of course, and I'm afraid that we will need extra musicians...OR we can sample the drums/percussions and I'll be able to do most of the keyboards. For that last option, i've tried to sample the drums on my keyboard while playing the keyboards at the same time...but that sound like shit ! I have a Triton LE 61 and I reached the polyphony limit with all those drums and big chords !

So I think about buying a laptop with Garage Band (OS X) on it, and sample the drums on the computer, and then I'll be free of playing whatever I want on the keyboard. But would it be a better option for me to buy another Korg Triton ?? I would love that...but I'm really not sure :S

One solution is to go with the laptop and run Ableton Live. Live will not only let you playback and trigger samples but will host any VST's you may want to run as well.

Ableton is for OS X I hope ? :P I'll try it if its free...

But anyway I think I'm gonna use Garage band, i'm used to it because I record with that, I can use all my "studio" effects with this program, but Live...
