Yeah, I've tried it, there's some great sounding stuff in there. The Wavestation, in particular, is excellent :)

It's definitely a great buy for the money.

Definately something to save up for....I always did regret selling my Original Wavestation (the one without the piano sample's). I just love'd that ZZLEAD patch and the Pads were second to none. I hear that the soft version can import original patch data from the wavestation. Double Cool.

I loved the sounds esp. for soundtrack type stuff
and new age/smooth jazz.
Was that the rack or 61 note keyboard
which you used to own?

I had the 61 key version, I was really annoyed when the Rack (2U version) came out, as I wanted the A/D inputs but its a lot easier to control the sounds with the vector joystick on the keys version. I had a choice of a new wavestation or the new JD800 (at the time) I'll put my hand up and say that I mostly chose the Wavestation because Jan hammer was playing one (oh its true, how weak sob sob!)....But there was this sound called New Zealand Vice which I made a whole song from, that keyboard was inspirational.

Processing external signals was always a plus for the A/D.
The original 61 note keyboard was the one JR first demoed
years ago.
In fact I swear when I saw the Tony Williams/Jan Hammer
project video, JR was playing one.
