Just wanted to share my joy with you all. :)

A JD-800 will soon be found on top of my K2500X, as I won an Ebay auction yesterday. This board is so cool! 8)

Any JD-800 owners out there?

I always wanted one of those babies, but I was still in high school when they were out so could never afford it :) Oh well maybe I'll be lucky like you someday on Ebay! Enjoy that beautiful keyboard!

I want one of those as well. There are lots of good sites on that board.

If you dont mind me asking, what did you get it for?

I got it for 481 euro - I might have gotten it a bit cheaper, but nevermind. :)

Looking forward 'till I have this new baby in my hands - it will be sent from Germany.

Dude,

When I played with Michael Angelo almost ten years
ago, that was my weapon of choice.

Very cool user interface with that liquidy JD sound.
KM used it alot with DT. You're in pretty good company.

Yup - that's what I though. It is a classic board, which must be found in every synth collection.

Excellent purchase !!!, they are one of the best boards that roland has ever made. I remember when they first came out, I played one in a shop and left the shop covered in sweat !... That wail guitar patch is just the best. 8)

Are you talking about the preset that Kevin used for the 6:00-intro? 8)

It was a great experience touring to promote his
album No Boundaries and record Planet Gemini.
I can now say that I've played with two of the greatest
shredders out there in MA and Neil Zaza.

Check out his site at www.angelo.com for more info.

Yep, that's it, but not sure if Kevin tweaked the preset for that song, I'm sure I read that in an interview somewhere.

Matt Guillory has that board too.

Did Jens ever have one?

What about Richard Anderson?

Wailing Guitar (too much feedback) isn't the patch that Moore used on 6:00...

I think he uses VELO CRUNCH to play 6:00...

And I love Mine JD...

I added a JD-800 to my live rig back in November.
It's by far the coolest board I have ever owned.
Not only is it very flexible in terms of programability, it also fits in perfectly with my other rolands (RS-9 and JX-3p).
Let me know if you have questions.
There's also a very good forum for tech advice on the jd-800...Check out

Enjoy !
