Hello!!
Ok..i now want to sell my Roland jv2080 and maybe i will sell it for around 650 Euros..
I sell it cause i need a more analog type sounds in order to build some Pink Floyd's Sounds and i wanteed to ask you if to make this its better the famous K2000 R, which i can find for about 700 Euros, or a Access Virus B, which i can find for 800 Euros ??

I mean..i need the same sounds used in "Pulse" and "in the flesh live" and i know that they are all made with some k2600..the problem is i dont have the money to get a K2500 or k2600..will the Kurzweil K2000R do the job as the k2500/k2600 for creating that sounds?? If not..will do an access Virus? or waht??!!! i really dunno..maybe a Moss in my karma..

Please Help me!!!!

Many thanks..

Claudio

During the Pulse Era, they used Kurzweil K2000 i think. I found it impressive that they made most of their old sounds with that device.

The prices you mention for a K2000R are quite high, be sure to check out the German ww.eBay.de , they sometimes go away for under 400 Euro.

I never heard the Access Virus, but it is known for a quite analog sound character and a good modulation matrix.

Personally, i use Waldorf Pulse for Pink Floydish sounds, but i never tried to replicate any special sound of them.

800 Euro is a great price!

A friend of mine paid 900 Euro for his K2500r.

I found this site on the where you can get info on Rick Wirghts equipment: http://www.angelfire.com/home/FloydWaters/richardwright/equip.html

Hi!

I looked at some sites yesterday and found some things which may be of interest for you:
Kurzweil K2500RS with sampling card and built in SCSI disk + lots of sounds: 950 Euro
Kurzweil K2000 V3, 4 MB Ram + sounds: 450 Euro

These were German sites, but normally it is no problem to buy something in other European countires.
