I don't get this, perhaps someone can help me:

In the keyboard-version of K2500 you have up to 4 footswitches, which you can assign to different functions. In setups I have assigned footswitch 2 to 36:ZoneMute. No problem :-)

Now using the K2500 rack I have also acces to the footwsitch-page in setups. But now I don't have physical footswitches 1-4, just the footswitches at the MIDI-controller. My sustain-pedal sends MIDI 64, which always is sustain, no problem. But how do I get my second footswitch (connected to the Masterkeyboard) to send Zone Mutes?

I tried to send MIDI 36, but that doesn't work. Also changing the settings for the sustainpedal at the setup-footswitch-page doesn't affect the function of the sustain-peadl...

Any ideas?

I think the best cost effective solution would be to find a
used Kurz PC-88 or any of the lower end Kurz keyboards
because they can offer those controller features that you
need in addition to their existing on board sounds.

All you need to do is midi up to the rack and you're
basically good to go.

Ah... I just found it! 8)

The local-keyboard-channel setting changes some incoming midi-data before using it. I didn't care about when first reading it: sustain pedal (MIDI 64) is changed to footswitch 1 and sostenuto (MIDI 66) is changed to footswitch 2.

That's enough for me, but I still don't know why I can't reprogram my sustain pedal. Should be in the settings of my midi-controller (A90), because it has a special hold-pedal input...
