idea for a song i recorded tonight

i had an idea for this piano based lighter rock song w/ a cool little chord progression, so i just threw down a 3 track recording (piano, bass and drums) to get the idea down...it has no real melody or guitar or vocal parts, yet, but i'd like some feedback as to what to change or add to make it better! i think it's a decent start, but you tell me! thanks!

i don't really think this piece needs any guitar parts except the bass line..

Beautiful in its simplicity. :D

Personally, I love it. It's got a nice groove to it. As for guitar, home boy's right ... there's no real place for a rhythm part, but it'd be easy to throw a little solo in there.

Lyrics shouldn't be hard to right, sounds like they'd flow easily into what you've already written.

thanks guys! it's sort of a prototype for a song for my band, so if we use it, it probably won't sound much like that when it's done, but at least i'll always have this version! :wink:
