Hi guys,
I'm searching for weird effect / analog stuff for my roland rack, something that sounds like absynth or something similar...
Thanks,
Jure

Jure, do you have any expansion cards loaded on your JV1080 ?
There are alot of great vintage analog sounds in the Vintage Synth expansion card.
Check this out. There's one on e-bay now...

Well worth the investment. I have one in my JV1080 and it's the best money I've spent in a long time.

The SR-JV80 cards are fantastic. Well worth the money.
Do i need to add to that, the newer SRX-cards from Roland for Fantom etc include a lot of -compilations- of the OLDER SR-JV80 cards. They're -that- good to be repacked and sold in this new age.

is there a good preset lead sound on the 1080 or do i have to create one?

No, I don't have any expansion board installed, and cannot afford it at the moment, since my next investment is probably going to be a rackmounted PC with VSTis and brainspawn's forte installed, which I'm going to use live...

no preset leads on the 1080 are sucky. There's a lucky-man kind of lead, and some other stuff but then you've had it. The Vintage srjv expansion is really good though.
1080 has good stock synthpads and stacksynth/organ.

I'm looking for the lead Kevin Moore used in I&W. Is it possible to make it with the factory sounds and the effects of the module? If it does how?

I can help you a bit at making a I&W lead...it's a Saw lead if I remember.. right?
I like more twicking at Korg keyboards.. (I use that lead on a Korg ) but I'm sure i can put those parameters on my jv 1080 for u..
Let's give a try
