Hi !

I've added three extracts of Scenes From A Memory covered by European Band "Progeny" during a prog metal festival

(bottom of the page ) : http://flabonde.free.fr/mp3

as have an amateur level, I had to simplify the keyboard parts to play these songs on stage and have fun altogether !

Hello,

As my band is about to release its first album, let me introduce you to ACHING BEAUTY a French Prog Rock/Metal band.

The Album "l'Ultima Ora", will be released in November 2004 on the label Brennus Music.

Aching Beauty was born in 1997 in Paris and has quickly grown within powerful and melodic compositions between rock and metal.

Based on various influences and backgrounds (progressive rock, heavy and trash metal, jazz rock, and pop), original compositions arise from reference bands such as Queen, Yes, Symphony X or even Angra, in a new and innovative style where Aching Beauty finds its own identity.

Aching Beauty builds its reputation throughout various live performances in Paris (la Maroquinerie, la Locomotive, Blues Café, Balle au Bond, ESI) and rest of France, and then decides to record its first auto-produced 3 tracks CD called "One More Step" in 2002, from which 500 copies will be distributed.

Aching Beauty also performs unplugged : there, they totally rethink their whole tunes to offer completely different acoustic sets. An unplugged live has been recorded at the New Morning in 2003 and faced an significant success among a much larger audience.

In 2004, Aching Beauty crosses the next level and release its first full-length album. Brand new compositions, powerful and deeply melodic are recorded for this album, culminating with the eponymous track "L'Ultima Ora", in which Aching Beauty combines all its passion and technique in a 16 minute multifold atmosphere journey.
