pls HELP---K2500R won't boot at all

I've been away from home thus I haven't used K2500R for a while. When I got home last night it was working perfectly for the first few hours. Then I switched it off, and on again after 15 minutes.

then the worst thing has happened. when i press the power button, i saw a flash of blue light on the display and it's gone. I could see nuthing at all but just the blue light on the display.

Right now whenever i tried to power up the machine, the unit has absolutely NO RESPSONSE!!!
What's wrong w/ me k2500R?? :roll:

--> I've tried replacing the AA batteries at the back of the unit, but it doesnt work.
--> I've also tried replacing the fuse with some new fuses, but doesn't help at all

FYI, since the electric current is here, I use 1A fuses instead of 2A. And those fuses I got ain't as delicate (I.E. they ain't those glass, transparent fuses whcih u could see the little piece of wire..) as those 2A fuses that came with the unit.

Disconnect everything form the machine, take the batteries out for at least one hour....


Then reassign them, connect the k2500 and try again.......

this happened a few times to my baby as well - I didn't do the battery trick although that usually seems to work, but I simply left it alone for awhile. I also disconnected all the cables, *scsi and such* and tried booting that way. Midi computer output for me has occasionally bombarded my kurzweil with info and usually messes it up - so much that it won't do much else but make that whirring sound lol.

Try those, and if still nothing, go to www.sonikmatter.com messageboards and they SHOULD be able to help :)
