Ok guys I normally hate people who spread rumors and stuff like this, but when I heard it I was simply too damn excited to not share it. I don't know if this goes against forum rules or not and I am sorry if this turns out not to be true but I was wondering if anyone has heard anything else about this. I was talking with one of the sound guys who works at a local rock venue (dream theater played about 10 years ago before upgrading) I played at yesterday, and he said he heard dream theater members discussiong plans for a new liquid tension experiment album and small club tour while working at another venue in the area at there last show here. This would be so incredible. I wonder if jordan would bust out some of his old kurzweil k2500 tones :0 well before I get too pepped, does anyone know if there is any truth to this? I know its just a sound guy, but I figure if he was a bser, he wouldn't be working at a famous rock venue for years without developing a reputation for not being credible. I dunno, I just wonder if there is any chance or truth

Hmm... I guess it'd be cool if it was true, but I think it's not too likely, since the LTE lineup is very similar to the DT lineup now (when they started, it wasn't, since Jordan wasn't in DT).
I'm more excited about the MP/Akerfeldt/Wilson project that will (hopefully) happen later this year. That'd be just awesome.

As far as I know per an interview or comment from MP a while ago, he said there wouldn't be a third liquid tension just beacuse of hte fact that Jordan and Petrucci are both members of Dream Theater and it would turn out to be like Dream Theater minus James....I think what you heard is just a rumor that someone may have wanted to start just for the hell of it.

I think what would be great for LTE and the fans is if they would do a mini tour, with a couple of shows (one in montreal of course!) as they have only done 4 shows as LTE.
I'm not expecting a new album, but I think the few shows are a more likely possibility for now.
