I´m using korg x5 as controller for jv-1080 and i have little problem with midi looping.

I have midi cable from x5´s out to jv´s in, and next thing i need is how to get jv hooked up to computer, so it can recieve midi out (perhaps by korg´s midi in?) and can send midi to computer.

If i have one cable from korg´s out to jv´s in, and jv´s out to computers in, how can i get so that computer can send midi data to jv through x5?

1. Is it possible to get korg´s midi out working also as thru somehow, so it sends data that comes from midi in?
2. Or should i get just some kind of midi y-cable from korg´s out and thru to jv´s in?

If anyone knows if option 1 is possible and how to do it (Without any special software running on computer!), it would be great.

I know one midi looping that works, but it requires computer softwares running if i want to play Jv with Korg. So those are out of option.

The most flexible method would be to get a 2 by 2 midi port for your computer like this one:

Not a recommendation o a particular product or retailer, just an example of a product. All the other looping and using of midi thru has it's weaknesses.
