Hi, I would please like to know the best Keys of a Keyboard, i want to buy a keyboard with good Keys, something very close to the Piano....I just need a good keyboard with good Keys, not a good synth...Cause i have Kurzweil k2600 and Korg Trinity...I want a 88 key keyboard with keys close to the Piano....Like Controller....What is the best ??? and What is the best under $1000 ???? I like Heavy Keys....
Thank You...

Doepfer PK88 ($749) or Doepfer LMK2+ ($999)
Kickass Keyboard Action, better mechanism than Fatar or Kurzweil.

Wow Kirby, thanks for pointing the PK88 out... I've long been looking for the most bare-bones 88 key controller possible, this looks like it!

Kirby: as far as I know Doepfer uses the same keys like the K-series... and as far as I know they're both from Fatar... but perhaps I'm wrong.

Best action of any portable keyboard IMO is on the Kawai MP9500 digital piano... my second choice would be the GEM ProMega (2 or 3)

@ IMax!
Doepfer may use the same keys, but they use a different hammer system.
I mailed to them one time and they explained it to me, if you want, i can forward the mail to you, because it's in german.
@ Drusillus: The PK88 is cool. It only sends note on and off and pedal messages, but that's enough for me. It also looks very nice :)
@Kirby: thanks, if you could mail it to daniel@7amplified.de . I've seen a small pic of the hammer action at the doepfer-website, and it looked like the hammer action in my K-2500. And after reading they're from Fatar I was sure they are exactly the same.
