Do you live in the U.S.? There are a lot of great places to look for keyboards here... What it comes down to is finding the guy or gal who takes care of you (because this most certainly won't be the only synth you ever buy), is honest, and gives you a great deal. You can find them just about anywhere, but you have to look for them.

Are you looking for a tweaky keyboard, like a Virus or a Nord G2, or more of a traditional workstation type (Motif, K2600, Fantom, Triton, etc.)? The advantages of mail order is that you generally don't have to pay tax, but it's a major pain in the butt if the shipping company destroys your keyboard in transit, and you have to wait for another one and/or it goes down in the field, and you have no one to take it to.
