Please help me with Trinity! Please!

I just bought one Trinity, and I would like to know if it's the Plus version!
How can I make sure if it's the Plus or not?
When I turn it on it says "Trinity with PBS-Tri Option" but nothing about Plus...
And it have the banks A/B/C/D... I think that the Plus came up with a S bank!? or am I wrong?
Anyway... please help me ;)

You should post gear questions in the gear section...

In any case. The plus version has a plus written on the case on the top treble side of the keyboard. If it is a software upgrade it will say "Plus" on power up. If niether are present, then it's probably not a Plus.

When you turn on your Trinity you should also read the "PLUS" word near the word "TRINITY"..You have only the PBS-Tri option...if you need also the S bank (physical modeling sounds) you have to buy the Solo-Tri addon card.

I have a trinity plus.

It has combinationplay A & B and programplay A, B & S. No D! Anybody knows if there's an upgrade required to have the D bank?

Or is bank D a hidden bank which unlocks when you hit more than 1.000.000 notes? :P

Ok, some info here on the models:

-Korg Trinity: basic model, only Bank A and B in both Program mode and Combi mode.
-Korg Trinity plus: basic model with Prophecy Card - Adds the MOSS synthesis of the Korg Prophecy solo synth to the trinity. Also adds one extra note to the polophony of the sequencer and can be routed through all the effects. Adds an extra S bank with 64 presets.
-Korg Trinity V3: basic model with Z1 Moss board, 6 voice polyphonic, bank M with 128 presets.

Add-ons
-HDR-TRI - Hard disk recorder option with SCSI port; 4 tracks, 16-bit resolution, 48kHz sampling frequency, synchronizes with the built-in MIDI sequencer

-PBS-TRI - Sample playback / Flash ROM option ; 8 Mbyte Flash ROM board and sample playback system disk set. Reads AIFF.,WAV., and Akai S1000 file formats. Adds extra C& D bank with 128 presets. Adds also 64 presets to the present 64 in the S bank making it 128!!

-DI-TRI - Digital I/F option ; ADAT compatible optical outputs

-SCSI-TRI - For connecting a harddisk to your Trinity and save your songs/sounds on a more reliable medium

*If you have a basic trinity you can also buy one of both Mossboards as an expansion.

Above expansion are very hard to find nowadays.

Yep mine says Plus... and to be more sure about it try to check if you have a bank S in Programs... or Bank M since "S" is the Plus and "M" is V3. Can't remember what was the sw ver I guess it was 2.2 that was my last sw update. I guess the 2.3 is compatible with the MOSS option for Z1 and not Prophecy emulation.

incase you'll buy one of both remember you can't have them both since the mother board have only one pace for the board.

So yours is a plane trinity with a PBS-TRI Flash Rome option for sample playback and storage. (hope you didn't buy it thinking it was a plus)

Version 2.3.0????

I have installed version 2.4.1 of the OS. You can find that on http://www.korg.com/service/downloads.asp?A_PROD_NO=TRINITY

It´s the latest and last version of the OS for the Trinity.

The Trinity V3 works with a different O.S patch (because of the 6 vioce MOSS board)
