At the moment I'm having a tough time on deciding which synth to buy after this summer. At home I have a Yamaha Clavinova CVP-94 piano, it has cool sounds, great action and realistic piano sound, but very little programming abilities and NO joystick/pitch wheel! So, my question is: are there any external joysticks or pitch wheels I could connect to my Yamaha to make it more "synth-y"?

I haven't seen anything like it, but if you really need a joystick, you might buy a 25 key midi controller or something, and just use it's joystick.

What a waste.
Your best bet is to sell the one you have now and get something that has the stuff you want. I would suggest going for a brand new S90, which are getting blown out by Musicians Friend at $1300 (a month ago, used ones for going for about that). Im guessing you could maybe get $400-900 for the Clavinova, then you would just have to save up the balance and you would have a beast of a stage piano/synth. Usually I always say go used, but when a product is at the end of its life cycle (ie being discontinued/replaced), they often get sold new for very cheap, so its worth a little extra money to have a factory warranty and no one else's grubby hands on your gear.
But I would act fast. Those things wont last forever at that price and once they are gone, they are gone (I had the same problem when they discontinued the OB12, they had them for $700 I think, which is a steal and a half, but by the time I got around to ordering they were all out). So I say beg, borrow, or steal and get your clavinova on the market yesterday. A brand new S90 for that price is pretty much the steal of the century.
