So after many years, I finally got a new set of ..> I can't post pics atm... but basically... what I was using before: casio CTK 515 ... what I'm using now: casio PX 550 ... it was originally btwn. the 110 & tbhe 310, but they had a used 550 at guitar center & I managed to get the used 550 for the same price as the 310 would have cost me... god I love that place... anyway, anyone have any experience with this keyboard series? what are your likes/dislikes, any tips/tricks?

The funny thing is that they could have given it to you cheaper. :p
Actually it's fun to haggle with the GC guys, sometimes you get a good good deal like that. Sometimes they'll stand firm from the beginning, and then it's fun to act frustrated and walk out. They wanted you to pay more so they get more commission. No commission now. :D
I like the Casio stage pianos. They don't have the *greatest* sound on the market but for someone on a budget they are the best thing available. They don't sound bad at all, just not like NI Akoustic Piano or anything. ;) They feel great though, very good action.

hmm... in general how cheap are they allowed to go?
On the comission thing... I can't fault em for that.. I've worked in retail... the pay sux... every little extra bit helps...
Yeah, their sound could be better in some cases, but as you mentioned... they're great for someone on a budget (which is part of why I looked into em anyway)...
I like the adjustable touch sensitivity and the keys feel pretty good compared to an actual piano... you can tell the difference.. but it should be enough for me to keep up my technique over the summer...
