Does anyone here know of any good recording/effects processing software for the pc? I would need it for plugging in my keyboard, and then adding effects and such to hopefully enhance the sound of my keyboard. Do yall have any ideas?

well.. if you have a sound card that can give you low latency, you can try with a simple VST host and many of the free available VST plugins on the net. Also you can try a commercil plugin, called Amplitube, if you want "guitar like" sounds. If you're experienced, I suggest you to try with linux operating system with low latency kernel patch. Using a LADSPA Rack with LADSPA plugins can give you a lot of "enjoy time" :D

One word: NUENDO

Another word: Sonar (not as advanced as Nuendo, perhaps, but cheaper and more immediately user-friendly)

I've had good luck with the M-box, which comes with protools. You just plug it in to a usb port and your ready. Protools is the industry standard for software. Once you learn it, its easy to throw all the plugins you need.
