Kurzweil K-2000 Techie question

Does anyone know if the boards inside the K2000R are the same as the K-2000? I got a bad mainboard in my K2000 and I've ran across a pretty good deal on a K2000R. I'm thinking I can scrap the R for parts.

Any Ideas?
