Hello to you all. I've been playing all this time (not much though) with my masterkeyboard connected to my PC. But now that I am a little bit more experienced with the keyboard and I want something better than the free vst I can find on the web. So I thought I could buy a synth rack. The problem is that I dont know which one to buy. So my question is: Which synth rack should I buy ?(price lower than $1700). I need nice piano sound, strings, Ahh voices, leads, organ, etc. Another question is: Do I need anything else than a masterkeyboard and a synth? Well thats all, thank you.

For that budget, you can look for a Korg Triton Rack, Kurzweil K2000R/K2500R, Fantom XR, Motif ES Rack. There are all great machines.. especially Roland and Kurzy ;)

Thank you very much. I have been looking around on the internet about the synths you mentioned and I think the the Fantom can be a good choice. It seems to be enough simple for me and its not very expensive. Of course I will try to test all the ones you wrote on your post. Thanks for the advice.
