1. i programmed my foot switch in port 2 to replace sounds, but it replace sounds only in program mode, in setup mode the foot switch dosen't replace the setups, it dosen't do anything there. how can i set it to replcae setups in setup mode?

2. how can i make the piano echo effect like in the mirror (5:46)?

waiting for replay,
Amir

JUst take a normal piano sound and ad a delay in the FX section. Mess with the delay time and feedback untill it sounds right.

thanks digilog :)

i figured out my first question but, is there a way to program the foot switch to change setups as a defult action and not change the foot switch to datainc in every setup?

Good question, but there's no way as far as I know, you have to assign it in every setup. But for making new setups you should build your own "default setup" - make a new setup with just one layer and assign the footswitches and other controllers that you want to have assigned this way in every setup and save it. When you're now crearing new setups, use your defaut setup for it.

... you should just assign DataInc and DataDec in one layer, otherwise it will change more than one sound (200 to 203 if you assign it in 3 layers).

what I do sometimes if I'm programming in a hurry - I'll make a blank layer that has one control and that's to DataInc. It makes no sounds though.
Anyway, I then also from there just add the layers I need and save it so I don't have to worry about the whole footpedal thing. That's just what *I* do anyway ;)

Perhaps there should be some kind like a control-setup for setup mode. Best thing you can generally do is to think about the usage of your footswitches and then change all your existing setups (much work to be done once) and make new setups always in this configuration.

*I* don't use DataInc / DataDec generally. So I use footswitch 1 for sustain, footswitch two for ZoneMutes (another way to change sounds if you just use two different soundsets and don't need all layers for both of them), and have switch 3 and 4 free for specail needs in the setup, for exmaple a second zone-mute switch or starting a sample or whatever.
