Although I am not normally one to post ( I do love to read them though !),
I wanted to let you all know that Jordan's performance at the benefit for the Center named in honor of my older brother Jay, was absolutely magical!
The line-up of talent was unreal, including surprise performances by Sting and James Taylor. Katie herself introduced Jordan(which I thought was very cool). He was one of the last performers of the evening and as I said, he was magical, as I knew he would be. I had a hard time with my giddiness as I looked around at the astonished faces of the other guests surrounding me. I kept hearing comments like " who is this guy"?, " this guy is amazing", " what is the name of the band he plays for"?. All these comments coming from people who are big time players in the Music,Entertainment ,Medical and Business world. I won't go into what songs he played ( he can do that if he wishes), but know that all of these talented entertainers were so generous to give of themselves. Katie picked out who was to perform what by the way. He played solo piano for about 5 minutes and then when straight into a tune accompaning Steve Tyrrell who sang vocals. When I think about it....he may have been on stage longer then any other performers excluding James Taylor and Smokey Robinson !
Once again I would like to thank Jordan for his incredible generousity and vertuosity( ). It was turly a magical evening.
Peace
Chris

Yeah, I only wish that many of the rich company owners would share some of their money too... some do, but not many enough!
