I had this problem too. Then I gave up :?
Is this possible? As far as I know .syx-messages are for the system, for program parameters, while Midi-files contain the playing information like note on / off, controller and so on. Is it possible to convert this? I don't know, but I think it's like... making an apple pie out of pears  correct me if I'm wrong.

This is the problem.
I've a NORD LEAD III.
In the official CLAVIA site there some new sounds.
There's one which is in .syx format. (128 patches)
The others are in .mid format (128 patches each one)
I'm not able to send .mid file from my pc to my Nord lead.
So i thought that is possible convert .mid into .syx !
Can somebody help me ???

If you have Cakewalk or Sonar you should be able to send MIDI files that contain SYX data to your synth.
I've had to deal with it in the past, I dont think I ever tried to convert the files.
