I use Pacemaker (that's the free Winamp one). It also works for Media Player I'm fairly sure (plus I think WMP can slow down anyway). DOn't know of any for iTunes though

Pacemaker can also change the pitch, it's a very essential plug-in i think.
Try to google for Goldwave, it's a free tool you can download and do stuff with waves, also change the pitch.

then my suggestion for that would be to install winamp and learn how to use it. It's really not that hard. I've been using it since like 1999. I think it's about the simplest out there.

Just use WinAMP. It's much more compatible than iTunes. Plus, it's free. And just better in general. Oh, and you have like...a couple thousand free plugins.

If you use Winamp you will also be able to use my beautiful plugin that allows you to control Winamp from a keyboard connected through midi. Its available at : http://www.evil-dog.com/Nismael/ . Just scroll down the page and look for keyplug if you ever convert to Winamp.

installing winamp doesn't mean you have to uninstall itunes and run all your music thru winamp. Just install it, the plugin and use it to slow down mp3's. You can still use iTunes for everything else.

Speaking of which, I haven't been able to get your nifty little plugin to work. It's installed, and I configured it correctly from the preferences from what I can tell, but I can't get my keyboard to do anything with it.
ps. I just checked your site. It has a lot of nifty midi tools I'll have to try out!
