I recently bought a sample CD called "Prosamples Advanced Orchestra" and loaded it into the software sampler in Logic... I think it's called EXS24. I imported a MIDI track and placed it on a Audio Instrument channel and it worked great.

My problem is that I don't know how to make a mixdown or a bounce of the track. I searched in the manual but I can't find any answer...

Can anyone please help me? :?

What you need to do is.....double click on any track name in your song and you'll open the 'environment' window which will show you all of the available tracks in the song. Scroll across the Environment window and you'll see the main master output channel, at the bottom of the master output channel strip you'll see a little button labelled 'bounce', click this and setup the parameter of how you want to mixdown your song, logic will then play your song and dither your song to whatever bit rate & sample rate format using whatever dither method you chose.

Hope this makes sense. This should be in the manual though.....

Thanks for your answer...

I always use the bounce buttom when I mixdown my audio project, but in this case it is a MIDI track that is connected to the EXS24 software sampler... and when I press the bounce button it says "nothing to bounce"...

The track with your EXS24 sampler plugin is or should be an audio instrument track, whatever midi data is on this track, will get bounced down in an audio mixdown file. Make sure that when you are bouncing that song start and end locations are correct. If you are doing all this then I'd reinstall logic...It all works for me..
