...replace 5-6 white keys on a Roland RD-150?
I use one for the school jazz combo, and there was a little accident last Thursday that left 3 keys chipped in half and a few others that didn't operate properly (getting stuck and not coming back up). It's a long story, but what it comes down to is someone didn't put the good stand away (buried under percussion equipment in the corner of the room usually isn't where it goes) and I wound up using the shitty one and BAM halfway through class it fell and flipped and voila! Broken stage piano keys (still worked fine...we tested everything and it worked, the keys were just chipped).
My teacher wasn't mad at me because it wasn't my fault and he just called someone he knew to fix it, but when he told the director of the music program...man did I get get yelled at. Something like "fucking peice of shit! LOOK AT THIS STAND! WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU USING IT FOR? And get your ass up out of that chair and come with me! *walks, stops, turns around* Do you dress yourself in the morning? How fucking dumb can you be? We have enough shit broken here, and the last thing I need is you going around breaking more of it!"
"I already told Mr Koch that I'll pay the full cost"
"No, it's not your fault, I'm just taking it out on you."
Alright then...psychopath.
Anyway, how much would it cost for new keys and to have someone replace them? I'm just curious because I don't think it would be all that much, and I want to know just how much that jackass overreacted over a few freaking keys breaking, even when he knew that it wasn't my fault and it wasn't anywhere near intentional.
