Yesterday was the best day of my life...
6 am: I woke up
8 am: I ate a good breakfast
1 pm: I went to Tropical Music (music store, as you might've guessed :))
3:30 pm: I met Mike Portnoy \m/ \m/
3:31 pm: got a few good photos with him and I got his signature on another photo
4:30 pm - 7:30 pm: I ate a lot pizza and drank a lot of beer to get ready for the best show of all time
8:30 pm: The lights went dark at the Coloseum of Puerto Rico
8:31 - 11:30: we had a FUCKING great time at the show!!!!
Man, I have never been to a rock show so goddamn good in my life. LaBrie sang everything even BETTER than the CDs and DVDs. They played a little from every album and it was AWESOME!!! Last night I slept horrible though. Way too much headbanging, my head hurts a lot, my neck is stiffer than the petrified forest and my eyes can barely handle any light at all.
Jordan, oh my god man.. you played so fucking great! I enjoyed every second of the show. We were the ones on the very left (if you are looking from the stage to the audience) and we were 1 of 2 or 3 groups of people that were the most passionate. We banged on the friggin barrier in front of us to most of the beats, my groups drummer was swinging away on his air-drum, and I sang so goddamn loud that I lost my voice. But all in all, every single second of it was worth it. And at the end, everyone went crazy with the riffs of Pull Me Under. It was awesome!! It's a pity I couldn't get to meet you, that was my number one goal, but since LaBrie said at the end that you guys are coming back, I HAVE to meet you. All through the night I couldn't believe how flawless LaBrie sang throughout the entire show. Hell, I lost my voice after the 3rd song.
Here's somewhat the lineup that they had.
Root of All Evil
Panic Attack
Under a Glass Moon
Lie
Peruvian Skies/Whereever I may Rome
Through Her Eyes
last 3 6DOIT songs
Intermission
As I am
Endless Sacrifice
I walk beside you
Sacrificed Sons
Octavarium
Encore
Through My Words
Pull Me Under/Metropolis
Those are the ones I remember, there were a few more that I can't remember. Either way, it was kickass! Jordan, can't wait to see you guys next time!!
