Kurzweil Expression Mate

Does anyone have it? Is it a good invesment? What exactly does it do and is it compatible with keyboards other than a Kurz? Oh, and one more question, where can i buy one at a decent price. i read that u can get one for under 200USD, but havent found it in my searching. Thanks.

Are you sure, Marco? I cannot imagine that since you can order the K2661 with an Expression Mate.

The ExpressionMate does come with a ribbon controller but it does much more than that. Its actually much more effective with non Kurzweil products where you'd like to add extra controller (Ribbon, Breath Controller, Extra Pedals...zoning). Its an amazing product.

You even have to install it manually!

No, there is an optional Ribbon Controller (plugs in like a phone cord) but does not include the Expression Mate.

That I don't know. I think they've been discontinued. But Togakure would know.

You must look for used items, on ebay or so. There you have a good chance you'll find one. Don't forget it's a MIDI device, that means programmable.
