Hello Kurzusers,
I received the ribbon controller andI want to fx it on my new K2661... Is there any special clean and tidy way to center it and install it ???
Well I guess JackJens had the question in an early Posting "2661"
Thanks a million Jack
Cheers

Hey R.C,
It took me about 12 years to own a Kurzweil.... It all started in 1992 when I went to record a song on a K2000 in a studio and I was shocked by the sound of this KB that I bearly was able to pronounce its name
So The story went from a lousy (yet usefull) Casio CT 470 ...VZ1... GEM WS2.....Roland E70.... KORG Trinity / Yamaha AN1X..... to K2661 so it's something strange after that time.
Now it's still a sound Module in my rigg but readinig and watching the tutorial.... after a while ...will take it up to the master mind of all the gear that I own.
Cheers M8

Hahaha, We all have to start somewhere. My history is...
Casio CT-400 , I owned a KAWAI FS-550 or so.. A Roland Juno-string 1, ehm, A Roland E-86, And my next will be K2600X! 2/3 months away. You will notice it when I have it. I will blow up the whole forum, so that everyone knows I have it, hehe. :D

Yamaha PSR-73 ( ), Yamaha PSR-730, Roland XP-30.
Seems like I'm still at the beginning of my collection. ;)

Me too... 3 months are long :O! And a Xp-30 is a good synth! Only not for me. Patches are TOO ''Roland''. But a over a thousand is super, for that price.

Hahaha. Well, it's just that I want 88 keys, else I'd got myself a k2661! Great instrument! :D Lyngs, you have a k2500X right?

Yup - it is my love... But a K2661 would be handy as well for jamming away on weird places - the Kurz's with 88 keys are way too heavy to carry on your own. :(

good that you mention that! It will be a problem of mine in the future. Good thing i have ''staff'' to do that. They're called ''parents''.
Make sure you get a soft-case for you K2600. I mean something like SKB. I have an SKB case which has a weight of about 15kg. Something with less weight might not protect the instrument, and getting a 'real' case will break your neck or you need more than two parents :D

My first keyboard was Kawai FS-610
Now I own a Korg N5, and if it wasn't for that screwed-up bender, I could call myself satisfied... :D

Hi,
I guess everyone has started somewhere
but I forgot one KB before my Casio CT-470.... it was a BONTEMPI 2 octaves with 8 botons on the left side 4 Major Chords and 4 Minor chords ... and that was my first KB at the age of 7 (25 years ago) as a birthday present.....
:D Maaaaaan I'm getting old
