Proper way to backup my K2500 before a Hard Reset?

I was just wondering how to back-up all my programs and setups that i've created so that I can reload them after a Hard Reset. If someone could walk me through it I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

go Disk mode
go Save
go to the bottom : Select EVERYTHING file
save to disk or HD whatever, and then BOOM :)
All saved
