My friend and I went to a local Sam Ash store to check out the keyboards there, and let me tell you that was an amazing experience.

We got to try out the Korg Triton Studio V2, which is amazing...funny thing is tho, almost every key you hit in any sound patch, started off some funky beat. The sounds were great, and it was a lot of fun to play around with.

The Roland V Synth (the newest one) was pretty sweet, cool beat sounds and cool effects.

The Korg Pa/Karma models were incredibly fun to use.

The Yamaha Motif ES had by far the best generated beat sounds and the trippiest dance sounds that I could play around with.

There was also a Kurzweil SP88 model, but, they didn't have the adapter for it and stopped dealing Kurzweil's a while ago.

All in all, I got to try out a ton of keyboards that I saw you guys talk about on the board...and let me tell you, it was a lot of fun.

The best part was that these little kids came into the store with their dads, and ran around the keyboard section slamming theri hands on the keys on EVERY keyboard (coincidentally, all the keyboards hooked up to a wall amp), and pretty soon you had the loudest cacaphony of beats and clashing notes ever in the keyboarding section. Too funny.
