Active Sound System for homestudio?

I would dig some advice on Active Subs and active studio monitors.

I need better speakers for use in my home studio.
For use with bass, keys, guitar, guitar synth, vocals, samples, movies/cds..

So far I've looked at:-
Mackie HRS-120 400w sub
2x HR-824 satelites (150w/100w)
{nice but too expensive for me}

B-52 Matrix 1000 (400w sub + 2 x 150w satelites)
(still expensive)

Behringer Truth B2031A (150w/75w) w/ subwoofer?
(A 400w sub with these might be in my budget?)

There's two versions. Perhaps the smaller
pair with sub will be more in your price range.

Check out the KRKs.
V8 if you need more power, V6 if you are on the budget.
The Yamaha MSP5 is also a good budget choice.
