Jordan's Piano Patch on Universal Mind L.T.E.

You know the Piano Break down towards the end of the song where he plays this awesome piece of music just before Bass and drums kick in with a wicked groove?

Does anyone know what Piano patch/sound that is he's using? sounds so realistic. Is it a stock Kurzweil Sound i wonder?

Does anyone know where i could get this patch? : )

FINALLY!!! ANOTHER CANADIAN!!!
Actually there are a few of us floating around on the board ;)

Anyway, the piano sound that JR used IS a stock piano option on the Kurzweil, at the time it was a Kurzweil 2500XS *88 keys with sampling* and the sound was from Kurzweil's Piano Rom which is an installable ROM which will add around 20 various piano waveforms to your kurzweil.

The one he uses NOW is the Triple Strike, which is pretty much the same thing as before, but now there are 2 other sensitivity layers for MP and PP I think, making it sound more dynamic.

Oh yeah, and to get that patch, you need to have A Kurzweil 2500 with the Piano Rom however I have programmed something very similar in realism *with the exception of the actual waveforms* that works quite nicely also on a Stock 2500 *without any roms*

I concur! Enigma has created a very realistic piano, without having the Piano ROM! I mean, he has the rom, but If you haven't you will still have great piano sounds.

Actually, I don't! I just have the base 2500X :) I just WISH I had all the roms ;)

Nope. No Kdfx either. It's not that I wouldn't love to have them, but all the sounds I make for Progsounds don't need anything like that to sound as they do ;)

Cool ...I NEED to have that patch...best piano sound ever!!! NIce and warm almost sounds slightly distorted/overdriven.

Anyways I Have Studio Logic FATAR 88 key on order...I plan on using that to control all my sounds in Giga and Any modules that im gonna buy. To get taht sound... I guess ill have to buy A K2600 sound module?? Or you said the New one is Triple STrike, which is offered on the PC2X module...which is a lot cheaper module...Is there any way I could get that one sound into giga without buying the whole module? Probly not eh?...I'm mainly a guitarist , just getting into keyboards now.

To get that EXACT sound you'd need a Kurzweil 2500 rack, with the Piano rom and KDFX. *that's to be pretty damn precise* however if you have the K2500 that will work as well ;)
