Battery is a cool plugin for drum triggering / sampler
I've had this for a while now but just recently started using it.
There are a great number of ways to alter the sounds quickly/visually (I love graphics and visuals for this type of stuff!)
On my G3 450mhz it works but I can see where it would be much better on a faster 'puter.
Halion is a great plug in for samples, it's drag and drop ability is so cool.
It triggers the wav/aiff files right off your harddrive and just stores a tiny fraction of the attack in memory for smooth transisions.
Right away I tried to assemble drum samples and the noticed if the sustain pedal is not used the samples choke, could be good for some drum triggering if I can get the cymbals to sustain.
Looking at these programs I hope that one day soon Kurzweil decides to embrace their workstations with the latest technologies such as Mac/PC software control, firewire non restricted storage, librarian, drag and drop file selection... :P
