Hello,
I own a Korg Wavestation and i love Tony Macalpine and Vitalij Kuprij's Lead sounds. There Both Classically trained Piano Virtuoso's and Metal Keyboardist's.
I like to ask does anyone have there lead sounds for the Wavestation?

Hi, i have a Wavestation, but i don't use it anymore.. it's stored in the hard case. I'm not sure if i remember Vitalik's lead sound.. but MacAlpine's using Triton on Vai DVD.. and with wavestation, there's only one saw lead patch that's decent i think... you probably can use that as your base.... honestly Wavestation is pretty limited compared to today's standards... might wanna upgrade :)

Both Tony and Vitalij use the Korg 01/wfd, that's why their lead sounds are so similar. That keyboard uses the AI2 synthesis, so if the Wavestation uses the same one, you should be able to create that lead sound.

Vitalij's lead is actually a Korg O1/w preset, i remember it was also in the old M1. In the N1 it's called "Solo synth" comprised of a saw wave and a wave called "Mini 1a". hope this helps
