Are these kind of VSTi's cause I have a PC1x but I don't get it if they are VST that I'm going to be carrying a laptop and a midi interface.

These are FM synthesis patches or programs for Kurzweil keyboards. They aren't VST instruments, stand-alone applications or plugins - you need a supported Kurzweil keybaord to use them at all.

You just load the sounds from your computer via midi.

I have a Kurzweil, too, but I don't even THINK of downloading the patches and try to load them into my -->SP88<-- ;)

I just stick with VSTis with my midi keyboard. I need sounds over playability.
