Give James Earl Jones a phone call...He'd be able to do the job....

Why dont you just say you need "gods" voice, rather than the extra step of saying Darth Vader?

Anyway, heres what you do. Get some pitch shifting (down an octave should do it, 100% wet), LOTS of reverb (with a high delay time). This will give it that cavernous low rumbling god sound.

I'm not sure how much "processing" is involved in creating a "Darth Vader" voice. It isn't like a Steven Hawkling thing, that's just how James Earl Jones sounds.

Thanks to Matthew Carlson (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000667HDG/qid=1134275937/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-2933159-1720050?n=507846&s=dvd&v=glance), I now cannot avoid thinking that God will sound a lot like James Garner.

I was just messing around with some Goual voices in Adobe Audition. Here are some suggestions

I agree with Omega. Lower the pitch (although I recommend something a bit less extreme, maybe about 4 or 5 semitones)

Reverb is good. Also try some delay or echo.

Try an EQ that has a bass boost and has a gentle fade off in the higher frequencies. Will sound very boomy.
