I don't know, I actually spent some time playing one
and to tell you the truth, I think you could get by just
fine using a Triton Classic. If a tube sound is THAT
important to you, you could get a TC and add on one
of Presonus's tube mic pres. and get that same effect
for a whopping $75.

I agree, although I haven't tried the Extreme myself, only read the specs and listened to the demos. The new piano sound seems to be an improvement, though.
