Dx7 and other key action SUBJECT ??????????

I like the DX7 Action more than the the Triton's.

I don't know how the 01/W feels though.

I own both a DX7 and a 01/W, I just got the DX7 along with a Juno 2 (complete crap imo) for a good price. It´s a DX7 S, but I think the action is the same on all DX´s (?). I like the action on both of these, but the 01/W is more dust sensitive it seems, it has some kind of built in lubrication that seems to attract it... What happens with my 01/W (I´ll have to open it up and clean it soon...) is that certain keys will stick in the down position for a short while before they return, which is kind of annoying. It´s only a couple of keys that do that on my board, and I doubt that it has ever been cleaned up, so a well maintained board should be ok.

In general the keys have a quicker return and response on the DX, and they don´t have that spongy feeling that some boards have (Juno 2!). Of these two boards (DX and 01) I´d say the DX is my favorite. I use it mainly as a controller now, and it works flawlessly despite it´s age!
