I came across my Live at Budokan DVD and watched it through once again. I have always noticed the big fish sticker on Jordan's keyboard. Is there more to it....inside joke?......or just random?

If you are clueless, check out angle five on the multi-angle version of Instrumedley on the extra features disk.

Yeah that's it ^

By the way, how do you change angles? When I play the multiangle thing, it plays and I can't do anything.

if you've got a decent DVD player, the controller should have an angle button on it. press that, and a list should appear with all the available angles.

Is my Playstation 2 a decent DVD player?

No, and for the sake of the longevity of your PS2, I recommend you not use it for DVDs.

Why do you say that? Do DVDs screw the PS2's longevity? It's fine.

In general, yeah, it screws up the laser. That's one of top contributor's to the PS2's record as one of the most (or THE most) unstable/fragile systems ever.

I don't think DVD's screw the laser I mean PS2 games are DVD rom's.And to your question:YES,you can change angles on your PS2 just press select and then start searching for something like angle.I don't remeber it exactly

Ok, kid. Time to stop talking about what you just don't understand.

There have been countless tales across the internet on PS2 forums (and from a couple people I've actually known in person) about the problems of using the PS2 as a DVD player.

Streaming DVD video is considerably more demanding than occasionally spinning up the drive to load new textures in a game.

Most models of the PS2 (we're up to V13 now) have had laser durability/quality issues, and nothing potentiates this like watching DVDs. Media quality is also very important in taking care of the laser, which may or may not play a role in it when watching movie DVDs.

It just isn't worth using your $200ish PS2, that you'd like to be able to play games on later, for movies when 1) there's a significant chance it could ruin your PS2 over time, and 2) You can buy a dedicated DVD player with similar abilities (remember the PS2 came out quite a few years ago) for a fraction of the price of a new PS2.

5 years of diary use playing games,Dvd's and even Cd's.and It's as new.It could be but IMO it won't make a big damage if you just play them ocassionally.at last all things go to ruin of constanly use even the OASYS..lol.

and you told me kid when you're the one who has been playing PS2.and I won't get offended I am a kid.

Ok, I have experience with this, and countless anecdotes support it. You have a PS2. Where's the rest of your backing? I warned Piranha in the interest of his PS2, and you come to refute what I said (probably out of bitterness) when you know nothing about it and have no support, other than the fact that your PS2 works.

Your argument initially was 'well, PS2 games are DVDs so like movies should work just the same,' which was erroneous, because they don't work the same. Movies are MUCH more taxing on the PS2. Then your argument became 'well, my PS2 still works!' Despite the fact that I said different models of PS2s (13 to date I believe) have had different track records. Nonetheless, it is not worth the risk of killing your PS2 when it has happened so many times before. The solution is a $30 DVD player from Walmart that will perform as well, if not better, than the dated PS2. Your 'IMO' doesn't carry much weight.

And yeah, I play games. Mostly PC, occasionally a PS2 title (one a year usually). And?

Nothing.but my point was If mine works why not his.even mine is one of the first ones that Sony made.Even If I'm wrong what's your point of star fighting me?
I'm just a kid you told me.So didn't your mama taught you to not fight a younger?

"Nothing.but my point was If mine works why not his."

You must be kidding.

My point in expressing disagreement is: I offered my advice to him, and you responded after me discounting everything I said. Naturally, I defended what I said.

I'm not opossing to you. If you say that you have been researching and that that is official I believe you, but I was telling my opinion that mine works so that isn't a fact that by playing dvd's your PS2 will die,If he only play them ocassionally his PS2 won't get any damage I mean that's another function of the system. It like the VCR you've been tell that If you rewind/forward you Videocassete your VCR it's going to ruin that will happen if you use it constantly not ocasionaly. I think you misunderstood every reply.

I think you haven't developed logic yet.

"I'm not opossing to you."

False.

"but I was telling my opinion that mine works so that isn't a fact that by playing dvd's your PS2 will die"

It also isn't a fact that shooting yourself in the head will kill you, or that speeding past a police station at 120 mph will get you pulled over. Never did I state it was a law engraved in granite.

"If he only play them ocassionally his PS2 won't get any damage I mean that's another function of the system."

It isn't the primary function, and it isn't a function under scrutiny because most people with PS2s have DVD players.

"I think you misunderstood every reply."

I think you misunderstood the fact that you don't have to chime in on every single topic you may or may not understand.

Ok, well does it really matter now? My PS2's fine and I played many DVDs on it, although I rarely use it for DVDs.
You're probably both right or something.

Well, for the "Six Degrees" tour on Mike Portnoy's Siamese Monster, he had a large stuffed "Animal" (the Animal off of Muppets) hanging behind him. I thought it was a band thing to hae some sort of Animal near your instrument. I don't know! LOL!
