Hey all,
I'm about to start learning the Firth of Fifth piano intro (Genesis), and i've managed to get hold of a MIDI sequence, and cut/trim it so that it's just the two piano tracks - left and right hand.
I'm trying to import it now into Finale 2005 to make some finishing touches, but whenever I open the new sequence, instead of each note being semiquavers, they're converted into quavers, making the score 186 pages long. When it's played back, it's like it's being played in ultra-slow motion.
Obviously this makes the score next to unreadable. I was wondering if there was any way to make Finale just 'open' the file, without playing around with quantisation?
Thanks.
