For reasons that I can't really explain or understand (listening burnout maybe?) I've never really made any effort to learn any DT stuff on keyboard until recently. So I'm working my way through learning some of the relatively simple stuff first. So far I have some clips of the Octavarium modular solo, the first few minutes of Space Dye Vest, the first Endless Sacrifice solo, the Learning To Live opening, the first few minutes of Wait For Sleep, the Glass Prison first solo, the first few minutes of Erotomania, the opening of Anna Lee, the first solo in Beyond This Life, and the opening of About To Crash. I'm thinking of adding the Honor Thy Father solo next. What other parts that aren't particularly difficult do you guys like to play?

well i started off learning the simpler piano-esq keyboard parts...through her eyes, space dye vest etc etc..

i didnt see voices on your list, the glass prison, solitary shell...all simple-ish (well we are talking DT here! lol)

First thing I taught myself on keys was one of the solos at the end of LTL. Pretty easy.

First DT thing I taught myself was Home. All of it. Kind of a random way to go. To this day, it's the only DT song I've taken the time to learn in its entirety.

TGP is good, I quite like the Overture 1928/Strange Deja Vu coupling, as well as the Blind Faith piano solo.

To direct this a bit more, I'm not really looking for entire songs, just sections to learn. I like the "eat an elephant one bite at a time" approach, and having an arsenal of DT riffs to play, especially as my bass player is a big DT fan, and our guitar player has been borrowing some of my DT CD's.

Ah. In that case then, the O1928 solos, all the solos on SoC, Blind Faith piano and organ solos for me.

The very first songs from DT I learned was A Change of Seasons and DOE. It might sound weird, but I enjoyed listening to them so much I just blocked everything that I had to do that day and learned those 2 songs. Unfortunately, I forgot most parts. :( But a real cool solo I like is the first Liquid T lead solo on Universal Mind. So fun to play. :D

I've ordered the DT Keyboard thingy book, so soon I'm also a mastah :P

Been playing through all the albums the last few days trying to find stuff to learn and I agree with what has been said earlier about the piano part songs, like space-dye vest and solitary shell. They're not that difficult to figure out on your own.

And Solitary Shell is awesome too, so what's the dilly-o :P
