Hay guys, Im looking for a really good sounding lead for my motif. Could someone tell me which sound to start with and how to tweak it to perfection

what sort of synth lead are you looking for? there are lots of synth sounds...you need to be more specific and then you'll get better help

Make a program with two voices. Set the first to Square or pulse, and the second to saw. Detune this last one by some cents. Set the filter as lowpass around 300Hz and assign velocity as controller for its cutoff. Set the ADSR envelope to A=0, Decay and sustain to max and no Release. Add a little chorus, a distortion and a little delay.

I've made quite a few on mine.... Yeah, if you're looking for a specific sound, I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Try "SmoothSaw" and run it through distortion.
