HI all,
i bought k2500x recently, i study the synth slowly, i need help with programming...
i would like to know what programming JR use for the large ribon, pitch wheel and mod wheel during his solo in DT (scenes, 6doit and TOT, mainly for scenes acually)? does he use the same programming for the controllers for all of his solos? a
i think JR use the large ribon to bend up/down for 2 octaves, and the pitch wheel to bend up/down 1 octave, please correct me if i'm wrong. i already downloaded the JR solos patches from prog sounds, they are great enigma btw,
so what programming do i need to do for the large ribon, pitch wheel and mod wheel in order to play the jr solos (that enigma made) like jr play them?

waiting for replay,

thanks in advance!

he uses PWheel to bend up a whole tone and down an octave. Aftertouch (or MPress) is used for feedback sound. Large ribbon are used for sweeping around octaves. I don't know use of modulator 'cause he use pitch wheel for vibrato. In the last solo program, he uses expression pedal (Midi CC#4) as wah controller.

That's all, i suppose :)

In program mode, edit your patch. click edit on a DSP Block and you'll find the settings. There are SRC1, SRC2 and their respective depths. SRC1 and 2 are the controllers you assign for modifing a sound.

Example:
you want that your analog-styled bass can have a squalchy sound when you rotate your mod-wheel. Simply, you've to edit your Lowpass block, assign MWheel to SRC1 and set Depth to an higher value.

Remember that depths are expressed in cents (ct). 100ct == a semitone so 1200ct == an octave.

If you need some helpful hints, check out k2users.org
I suggest you the great Darwin Grosse Programming Tutorial :)

You can't say that actually, because Jordan's setup can change completely with one pedal step!
There is no general setup that Jordan uses!
