Connecting your synth to guitar OD/distortion units.

Hi guys, For those of you who like to connect their keyboards to guitar PODs and the likes. How do you connect your synth to any of these units, given that they all have a single mono input? Do you use two units (1 per channel)? Or do you give up the stereo aspect of your sound?
I have a Yamaha DG stomp btw, and I am suffering from this same dilemma.

Well, you could just use the mono out of your board (Left output) if you don't use any panning patches. Otherwise...Hmm...I think there are some stereo effects pedals in existence. Not sure what they are though. You could always play silly buggers with the wiring, I suppose - that might work.

A solution would be to use an FX unit with stereo inputs and some distortion effects, such as the Behringer virtualizer pro.
