"YES, MEGADETH IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO PLAY"
DAVE MUSTAINE makes his announcement after a special version of "Coming Home" to the Argentinian crowd at the sold out show in Buenos Aires.
"I told you earlier tonight that I was gonna let all of you know first before the rest of the world what our decision was - whether or not we were gonna continue with MEGADETH or not," MUSTAINE said before playing a special rendition of "Coming Home", with the song's lyrics changed from the original "I'm coming home to Arizona" to "I'm coming home to Argentina." Immediately after the song, MUSTAINE said "The answer is yes."
MEGADETH will continue as a band. MEGADETH will record a new album. MEGADETH will continue to play.

It is time to celebrate =)

There's some truth. I really miss e.g. Marty Friedman, this guy rocked/rocks.

It was ALWAYS MegaDave. The albums that weren't so were the one's people criticise when Marty insisted that they be more Poppy and alternative. Not that that's bad, I liked Risk and Cryptic Writings very well, but Marty certainly wasn't the ingredient everyone misses about Megadeth.

I too wish Marty was back though. I'd like to see them with the approach that they need to be Hanger 18 Megadeth with Marty's writing and playing.

The last album was very good and I can't wait to hear more.

After seeing DT with Megadeth in august it was very clear that his new band kicks ass! I'll go see them again.

Weirdest though was they played a song and announced that a guitarists from Nevermore? was gonna join them on the next song and after they played they thank MP for playing on that song too. I wasn't paying close enough to the drumming. drats.
