I think it was digital piano for that price, maybe it sucks compered to other keyboards but I love her. I've played a Casio CTK - 651 for almost 3 years now.
Could someone explain how to use the midi function?

Sorry for acting so n00b on you guys.

Edit: Oh crap, I thought I was in Gear talk.

Not bad! And don't rip on Casio, my main synth is a WK-1800!

Which is actually a nice board, considering I'm a beginning player (Only 4 months). Beginning player with a beginning board, but I'm making some good progress, IMHO.

Hey that reminds me of this one time Jordan showed me one of his acquisitions which was a Radio Shack 61 key portable keyboard with the lighted mini-keyboard display telling which notes are being played. He played an excerpt of SFAMusing the on board piano sound and totally smoked.

There you have it. I'm convinced that it's all about the player since Jordan kicks butt even on a Tandy keyboard!

Poopshred, you are NOT a Noob. Noobs simply don't exist! ''Noobs'' do allways know things other people don't know! Don't like the word noob.

And Moondark? You are completely right! But don't tell my parent, otherwise a Kurz will be just a dream forever. :P

I must say that the gear can help though.. I have a feeling I'd be a better player if I had an 88 key weighted synth to play on as opposed to my 76 key unweighted synth.
