I just checked back to the StudioLogic web site and noticed that they've updated the VMK188 and the VMK88 with Plus Version. They now incorporate built in USB with BUS power which makes these very very attractive....

So this looks like good competition for the CME UF range....so if anybody is in the market for a weighted or semi weighted 88 note controller, these are worth a look. Like the colour too....

Hmm, to each his own, I guess. I don't really care for grey as a color for keyboards. Maybe it's due to having used a Motif/Ion setup live for a few months, but it strikes me as too industrial, instead of elegant or dark like black, or cool like the Waldorfs.

I think I like the grey cause all my board have been dark or silver, looks different, I bet in reality its more silver. I agree the SL's do not have much shape to them....
