Hey Guys, I know most of you are experienced in computer technology, so I thought I'd give this a shot:
I captured a DV Video of my band playing and the file is 20gigs. I wanna bring that down to one DVD, what do I do? I have Adobe and Ulead video software. Any help? :? Thanks a lot!

Do you mean that you want to get the file size down to under 4.5GB, so you can back it up on a DVD, or that you want to create a DVD video disc of the footage?
If you mean you want to reduce the file size for archiving, don't do it that way - instead, lay the edit back off to a DV tape in your camcorder, and back up the edit that way. Then you won't be recompressing the footage and losing quality.
If you want to make a video DVD of the content for distribution, recent versions of Adobe Premiere included a couple different programs that would allow you to create DVD-compatible MPEG files directly from the timeline, which then you can burn to a DVD to make a video disc. I'm not familiar with the Ulead software, but I would expect them to have a similar feature.
